AI OCR Development Engineers work in collaboration with natural language processing and machine learning researchers (Tokushima) to incorporate AI-OCR into in-house products. Making next-generation AI-OCR software is often challenging. It is necessary to proceed with design and development while balancing the requirements of the clients as well as what can be achieved functionally. This type of work requires a mind that can clearly distinguish what they are and are not capable of, and communicate what is necessary in order to bring a product into fruition. As there is a natural language processing team in Tokushima, Engineers do not have to be highly specialized, though a person who has some experience with or understanding of NLP AI is preferable.

[REQUIRED]
・ Development experience utilizing AI, and developing with or operating AWS services (API GateWay, Lamda, DynamoDB)
・ Development experience in Java or Go
・ Can work with design and business professionals as a team with high communication ability, in order to keep projects moving forward
・ Strong motivation for growth
・ Curious about technology and can enjoy learning
・ Enthusiastic about developing high-quality software and services
・ Japanese (Business-level or higher - about N2+)
・ English (Business-level or higher)
・ Must reside in Japan

SALARY: Estimated starting from 5 to 8 million yen, yearly
